Current Admissions Updates

B.A./M.D. Program, Fall 2017: The fall 2017 General Application for Admission and the School of Medicine Supplemental Application are now available. The application deadline for the fall 2017 class is November 1, 2016. All applications and application materials must be received by this date, and interview decisions will be communicated in late January.

M.D. Program, Spring 2017: The application deadline for the M.D. program was August 1, 2016 for those interested in beginning the program in spring 2017. Interviews will be held in October, and offers of admission will be communicated in late October. The application for spring 2018 will open in May 2017.

Master of Science in Anesthesia Program, Spring 2018: The spring 2018 application process is now open. The application deadline for the MSA program is July 3, 2017 for those interested in beginning the program in spring 2018. Interviews will be held in August, and offers of admission will be communicated in early September. The application for spring 2019 will open in March 2018.

Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant Program, Spring 2018: The spring 2018 application process opens in April 2017. The application deadline for the MMSPA program is August 1, 2017 for those interested in beginning the program in spring 2018. Interviews will be held in late September, and offers of admission will be communicated in early October. The application for spring 2019 will open in April 2018.

Master of Science in Bioinformatics Program, Fall 2017: Students interested in the Master of Science in Bioinformatics can APPLY NOW.  The application deadline for fall 2017 will be May 1, 2017 (international applicants) or June 1, 2017 (U.S. citizen or permanent resident applicants).

Master of Health Professions Education Program, Fall 2017: Students interested in the Master of Health Professions Education can APPLY NOW.  The application deadline for fall 2017 will be June 1, 2017 (international applicants) or August 1, 2017 (U.S. citizen or permanent resident applicants).

Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research, Fall 2017: Students interested in the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research can APPLY NOW. The application deadline for fall 2017 will be May 1, 2017 (international applicants) or June 1, 2017 (U.S. citizen or permanent resident applicants).

Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education, Fall 2017: Students interested in the Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education can APPLY NOW. The application deadline for fall 2017 will be June 1, 2017 (international applicants) or August 1, 2017 (U.S. citizen or permanent resident applicants).

Graduate Certificate in Pediatric & Congenital Cardiovascular Perfusion, Fall 2018: The  Graduate Certificate in Pediatric & Congenital Cardiovascular Perfusion will not be accepting applications for the 2017-2018 academic year. Students interested in the program are expected to be able to resume the application process in spring 2018 and apply for fall 2018 admission.

Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Co-Discipline in Bioinformatics, Fall 2017: Students interested in pursuing the interdisciplinary Ph.D. at UMKC may APPLY NOW and select Biomedical and Health Informatics as a Co-Discipline in the application process. The application deadline for fall 2017 will be May 1, 2017 (international applicants) or June 1, 2017 (U.S. citizen or permanent resident applicants). Please consult the School of Graduate Studies website by clicking here to learn more about primary and co-discipline deadlines, and please make note of application deadlines for both primary and co-disciplines.

Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Primary Discipline in Bioinformatics, Fall 2017: The application deadline for those interested in pursuing the Primary Discipline in Bioinformatics through the interdisciplinary Ph.D. at UMKC was April 1, 2017. Students will be notified of their admissions decision for the Primary Discipline by early May and will begin coursework in August.
